July Meeting "Book It" by Veronica Wells

The next meeting is on Tuesday 14th July and is a talk called "Book It" by Veronica Wells. Veronica is well known to all of us as a superb embroiderer and I am sure the talk will be very impressive.

 

Veronica says " I am going to talk about my obsession with little books: sketchbooks, altered books, and handmade books."

 

 

The meeting will by held in Alsager Library at 1.45 for a prompt 2pm start.

Visitors welcome £3.50

The South Cheshire branch of the Embroiderers Guild are having an exhibition called "25 Years of Stitch" at Audlem Public Hall, Cheshire St, CW5 0AH, on 18th to 20th September. Open 10am to 4pm, admission £3.

Sheila Sealey has finished her Kantha elephant and sent a photo for the blog. Has anyone else any pictures of finished work?
