Talk by Dorothy Pickering

The Alsager and District Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild meet regularly at Alsager Library on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1.45 for a 2pm start.

On 10th December we had a very interesting talk on "My Work In Textiles After Retirement" by the artist and designer Dorothy Pickering. This was followed by festive refreshments provided by the committee.

The next meeting is on 14th January. The topic will be "Show Me! Show Me" and will be a members showcase.
If you can't make that, the following one is on 11th February and is "Bullseye Cushion Coverall" with Jean Thornton.  Non-members welcome.
